Both bounds are required and have no defaults. Use date-only values without a time or timezone suffix. The inclusive range must satisfy today (UTC) minus 24 calendar months <= check_in_start <= check_in_end <= today (UTC). Equal bounds select a single check-in day; today is allowed. See the check-in-date eligibility limits. These dates select room check-ins; reservation creation and check-out dates do not restrict the range. The response created_at field remains the creation timestamp.
